I've been photographing and making videos of birds since 2010. The images in this series of pages have all been taken in my yard that is a small part of the riparian zone along Johnson Creek in Portland, Oregon. It's my attempt to show the variety of bird species, their individual behaviors and the changes in their yearly migration patterns with the best images and videos I've been able to capture. Some birds have been more cooperative than others.
